What makes Alchemy unique?
Did you know that the physical practice (Asana) is only one of the eight limbs of yoga? Most studios in Western culture market yoga merely as a form of exercise: leaving many stones unturned from this centuries old practice.
Alchemy is rooted in all eight limbs of yoga: a holistic framework for personal and spiritual growth.
Each week, we’ll traverse the Yamas (social ethics) and Niyamas (personal observances), the first two limbs that provide ethical guidance for rightful living.
Along the journey, we’ll also incorporate practices from the additional six limbs—Asana (physical practice), Pranayama (breathwork), Pratyahara (withdrawal of the senses), Dharana (focused concentration), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (enlightenment): creating a truly integrated experience.
As a yoga teacher for 9 years and a student since 2002, I’m excited to share the depths of this practice with you so that you can uncover what’s possible for your own inner well-being. We live in a world now where attention spans are short, nervous systems are chronically dysregulated and there’s too much focus on outward things. I created Alchemy as an invitation to get still, turn your gaze inward, go deeper and create sustainable inner peace through your yoga practice.

How Alchemy works:
Led by Jaimee Ratliff, this is a 10-week program that meets virtually on Saturdays at 9a -11:30a EST. Each week includes:
A 2.5-hour live virtual session that includes a discussion about the Yama / Niyama of the week, a guided asana practice incorporating its themes, breathwork, meditation, journaling, sharing and Q&A.
That’s a total of 25 live hours that you’ll have access to for 6 months after the program ends.
A mindfulness activity to cultivate deeper presence in your everyday life.
You’ll challenge yourself to be exactly where your feet are, in every moment.
Downloadable PDF worksheets to support your learning, introspection and practices throughout each week.
You’ll have access to these for a lifetime.
Access to a private group chat to connect with the program leader (Jaimee Ratliff) and cohort members throughout the entirety of the program.
You’ll use this time to ask Jaimee anything about yoga, well-being, your personal practice and more.

Week 3: Asteya (Non-stealing) - 3/22 - Embracing gratitude and sufficiency
Week 4: Brahmacharya (Moderation) - 3/29- Fostering balance in all areas of life
Week 5: Aparigraha (Non-possessiveness) - 4/5-Letting go of attachment and inviting freedom
Week 6: Saucha (Cleanliness) - 4/12- Nurturing purity of body, mind, and surroundings
Week 7: Santosha (Contentment) - 4/26- Discovering joy and acceptance in the present moment
Week 8: Tapas (Discipline) - 5/3 - Building strength and resilience through commitment
Week 9: Svadhyaya (Self-study) - 5/10 - Deepening your self-awareness and inner inquiry
Week 10: Ishvara Pranidhana (Surrender) - 5/17 - Trusting the flow and embracing peace
*Please note: All live Zoom sessions will be recorded so that you can go at your own pace and watch them at your convenience from wherever you are in the world. You aren’t required to attend the live sessions to join the program.
